Question oil hose

Im currently cursiong deeply at my 91 s10 truck 4wd 4.3L. it has developed a severe leak in the hose between the engine block and the oil filter. I have tried many things to get it loose but am, failing miserabley. please if anyone could come up with an answer of an easy way to fix this. thank you.

Is it a plug in hose or is there a nut on the end of it?
