iam about to change my motor in my hatch, iam replacing my d16a6 with a d16a6 but with the new motor i also got the good transmision .. iam not sure about the numbers but i know there a 2 for that car? a fuel econmy one and a faster one,,, i just got the better one and iam wondering what i have to change to make it fit,, the motor came out of a crx if that helps?also if some one know the id numbers for these two so i can reseach it better?

if they are a6 motors then they both should have the same tranny. its the si model..the fuel economy model is the hf and its a d series but not the same engine code.

He is correct...just as long as its the same tranny that came with the motor. Now if it came out of a lower model car that someone just swapped the A6 in, it might be the lower model tranny still.
As for changing over to it...bolt it up and go, nothing different you need to do there.
