How exactly do they work?

Hey my name is Corey. I just got this profile, this is my first post. I really need some straight foward info about airbag suspension. I have a 2002 chev S-10 xtreme Ext. cab. I was wanting to get the lowdown on pretty much everthing. Airbags, compressor(s), valves, lines, fittings, tanks, etc...Like I said everything! Just a good preception on how it all works would be really appreciated. Thanks

Re: How exactly do they work?

you can get a lot of info on airride.com's website, surf around, suicidedoors.com (thorbecke bros. website) and maybe airbagit.com's site, look around the tech pages and such. Airride's site gave me some info on my rear suspension setup, personally, I have a 92 4cyl, 5 speed reg cab short box, I made my own c-notch ( I was working in a steel shop at the time, just got laid off) But I'm doing a paralell 4 link setup on the rear, bags over the axle, making my own bag crossmember, over the axle and parallel 4 link, cause it's easiest, and then I won't have to move the gas tank, and bags in the front with 2" drop spindles. No matter what you're looking for, those sites should give you a clearer idea. Hope I helped
