Muffler/Cat

Hey All,

I know that this might sound weird, but it is true. This morning before going to work , I noticed that there appeared to be hair or something hanging out of my tailpipe. It was long and kinda black/grey. Any idea if this could be part of the Cat starting to go bad, or did some critter try to seek refuge in my muffler? Any comments, no matter how wierd ??

possibly from your resonator, there is Sound deadening material in them which will be black from the carbon in the exhaust and its about as long as fiberglass hairs.
