Type of Gas & door speakers on 94 lesabre

hey ive always tought about putting a different gas other than 87 octane.. does anyone pump 89 or 91.. any difference.. engine problems or damage??

also what kind of speakers does the 94 lesabre doors use.. ive heard 6" i have a 6.5 that doesnt fit but stays on..

Why bother wasting your money on a higher octane fuel when your car was made to run on 87? Especially with the price of gas these days. Check with your owner's manual for the proper octane recommendations and go by that. I think the speaker size in your doors are 5 1/4".

'97ventureowner's right, the doors have 5 1/4s, as well as a set of 1 inch tweeters which have about a 3 inch border around them for mounting. JSYK, the speaker covers are mounted to the door panels, and cannot be removed without first removing the whole door panel!
