Im looking for a a trusted company that offers performance tuning for a WRX. Anything will help me out. i did a quick google and didnt come up with much, but im sure u guys know far more than i do so shoot me some feedback.

Also, are there any reliable web based companies that offer a good catalog of performance parts for the WRX? Im looking for a t-stat, header... just some misc stuff.

gruppe-s.com
subydude.com
kartboy.com
perrinperformance.com

Makes me wonder what you're searching for if you can't find any of them.

Re: WRX Tuning...?

I would highly reccomend Cobbtuning.com Their accessport is an amazing product. I just purchased one this week and love it. However, I am trying to find some feedback about running this product with turboback exhaust (stage 2 maps) will increase 53hp and 65 ft lbs torque...jus by tunning! Buy it! I dont know if anyone else is familiar with this product and the stage 2 maps but is just a downpipe and catback exhaust sufficient? OR do I need to run a uppipe as well with the turbo back exhaust? Is the uppipe considered part of the 04 wrx turboback exhaust? Anything will help!

Re: WRX Tuning...?

And If I were to buy some performance parts for my '02 WRX, where would I go to find out how to take the old stuff off? (Read: Where can I get my paws on a factory service manual since I can't find a Haynes manual)

Re: WRX Tuning...?

There is no such thing as a Haynes manual for any of the current generations of Subaru, you can however go to http://www.scoobymods.com and find guides on how to do tons of mods.

Re: WRX Tuning...?

You don't need an up pipe w/ the stage 2. Just turboback exhaust and accessport. I have heard that the up pipe is a very good mod but is much more difficult to install and slightly risky because it is upstream from the turbo. you don't want to suck any wrenches into it ya know.
