Angry 2001 v8 aurora problems! check these out!

First of all i have a 2001 v8 has 73,000 miles on it. it is in excellent condition, but my problems are:

1) whenever i turn the steering wheel either way i get a weird noise like the springs or spring is popping, making a noise. cant find the word to describe but it is a front spring noise. anybody know what i am talking about? Help

2) tranny, at times when i take off from a stop the tranny does not kick in to gear right away and hits pretty hard. like i said it is not all the time, but quite often.

3) tranny, is content, shifting into drive or reverse from nuetral or park or vise versa, it is a hard shift, like it would if you were on a hill.

Any help would be appreciated for these problems!!!!!!!!!!opcorn:

Thanks, Eric

Answer to item 1 above is your ISS (intermediate steering shaft) needs servicing Do a search on this site for solution.

Your transmission problems are probably related to bad shift solenoids.
