I'm looking to buy a cold air intake from K&N. Which is better, gaining more horse power at a higher rpm or lower rpm? And if anyone has any suggestions on which one I should get. I have a '05 Civic LX, Auto, 1.7L, 4 Cylinder.
Also, do they make headers for this car? If so, which one should I get? |

Re: Which is better
You ask your self that question. Where do you drive your car more, between 2000 and 4000 or between 5000 and 7000? I'm pretty sure someone makes headers. I recommend and 4-2-1 one-piece design. Best option in my opinion.

Re: Which is better
Search around this had been brought up many times. Header on LX done right requires an EX conversion. The EX actually has 3 pipes and the header. It has the header, then the downpipe, then the midpipe, then the axleback. The LX is only 2 pipes plus header. On the LX, it goes header....then midpipe, then axleback. The midpipe on the LX goes right from the header ALL the way back. So you cant put a race header and keep the stock lx piping.
