1994 driver door chime won't stop while door is open...
It dings regardless of whether or not the key is in the ignition. A small problem, but irritating.
I did a search but I didn't see anyone else with this problem. I don't know much about cars, but I think I could probably learn to change a fuse, if that's what people think the problem probably is. Does that sound like just a fuse problem?

Bad "key minder" switch in lock cylinder. Tells when key is inserted. Sounds like it's stuck in "key in" position.

That makes a lot of sense, b/c some idiot actually took my car for a joyride a few years ago, and I noticed at the time that the ignition was messed up. (Though it's been working all this time.) You rock! It must be fun to know how to fix things.

This problem is common for Saturns. Mine does the same thing. I know how to fix it, but it doesn't irritate me enough to bother with it.
