Front wheel bearing

I have to replace the front wheel bearing on the drivers side. They list two types, one is an early version with a steel sensor wire clip and the other is a second version with a plastic wire clip. From the car door it appears the van was born 12/2000. My Silouette is a 2001.

Any one know how to determine which is for me?

Also is the hub nut a 33mm socket? Yes it is. I bought it today and it fits.

Milo

Re: Front wheel bearing

It doesn't matter which clip you get, but the metal clip may hold up better under abuse. Also you need to change both bearings at the same time not just the driver's side. Hope this helps!
