Cleaned a/c drain, but still not draining..help!!!!

My wife has a 1994 grand cherokee. There has been water on the passenger floor after having the a/c on. It is not draining out the over flow tube. I was showed a picture and aslo told how to dril a 1/4 hole inside of the jeep at the firewall to unblock the evaporator. I have drilled the hole and cleaned it out two diffrent days with a wire and then trying and hanger. Neither worked, so the next day I used an air commpresor to try to blow anything out and then went in as far as I could with the wire again. nothing came out. I tried one more time withe the wire and this time I bent the tip of the wire into a little hook and stuck it in to see if I could grab and pull anything out and nothing happened. The last thing I did was stick a wire down it as far as a i could and i had to finally hit the over flow tube from in the fram so i know i was deep enough and still got no better results. I tried all of this 3 times in 5 days. Does anyone else have anyother ideas to get the evaporator line clean. I am lost. Thanks Rob

you may possibly have to change the evaporator.. also, take apart the canister under the dash and see what it looks like in there.. it may just be dirty on the coils and causing tons of condensation.. just an idea.. i'm not real familiar with a/c's

To the OT, I did the same thing and it leaks slowly out where two pieces of plastic come together. Did you plug the hole you drilled? Do you still have puddles as big as they originally were?

Use a stiff wire and put a hook on the end. Don't just work it straight through the hole. Go around as far as you can into the evaporator 360 degrees, That's what I had to do to get all the leaves and such. I finally got a new evaporator this year.
