Oil Pan

I have to change my oil pan on my 93 probe se..never done this but it cant be that hard..do i buy a new gasket also with this and does anybody know the torque specs?

Had to change mine on my 95 last year. My son is an apprentice mechanic. His shop did the job for me. They told me it was awful. All the bolts were seized and they really had to work hard to get them out. You may want to think about having it done in a shop if you don't have a lift, as laying on the ground, trying to change it is at best uncomfortable and at worst impossible.

yea you'll want a new gasket. doesnt cost that much and can never hurt.

new pan always equals new gasket i dont care what kind of car you have. yes it is possible to do aslong as the bolts dont break i did my 93 ford probe oil pan and everyone of them spun out for me. the tore spec is 30 INCH/POUNDS. Not 30 ft/lbs
