step by step lower intake procedure

anybody have step by step lower intake manifold procedure to replace the lim gaskets?

Re: step by step lower intake procedure

I don't have a step by step that I can post, but I did just finish the job and used a Haynes Manual as a reference. It provided a reasonably good step by step instruction. I only found it lacking in a couple places, but easily was enough to get me through the job. Also, the post I made a couple weeks ago, titled LIM - My turn, has a link to the revised torque procedures for the LIM.

By the way, I recommend running a tap down each of the eight LIM boltholes in the head to clean them up prior to installing the bolts. I also recommend using new bolts and cover the openings in the block and the head when you do this. Also, just to be sure, change the oil when you get done with the job.
