Celica Progress thread

Here is my un-polished, Bright red painted Celica.
After the poll I posted on Saturday, I decided to paint it red. I used Automotive paint and Primer and it will be given a good polish in a few days. I also posted a pic of the dashboard which isn't finished (to show the ricer-blue panels ) . There also is 3 different views of the engine.

If anybody wants me to scan some more things from the kit, feel free to ask.

The paint on the car looks more of a rich red, the pic makes it look a bit orangy IMO.

(P.S I am getting a digital camera for Christmas, so I probly wont have finished PICs (may have scans ) until then.

Enjoy.

So far so good. There's only 2 different views of the engine, the last one is a double.
What's with the dash?

I seriously don't think the blue goes with the red body colour! Sorry! Needs to be a dark silver or carbon fibre or something!
Otherwise, best of luck with the kit. read my thread on building it, it wasn't an easy one!

, The blue panels are only on the dash and center console. The seats are black with a kinda matt grey down the middle.

And where might I find this thread of yours?
I searched for threads on it the other day, but couldn't find any...

Yea, but its even better to see things from you!

I don't really know what else to do to the engine bay, any ideas I don't wanna go way out there, with turbos (already got one anyway) and stuff like that. I might do a B.O.V and maybe a C.A.I .

Sorry again for the crappy quality pics.

Good to see some modeling results from this cigar smoking Aussie :bandit:

It looks all OK to me, and the dash looks good to, keep it that way.

Show us the pics when it's done!
