Question waisting too much gas, feels like.....

I own a 2000 lincoln ls and all of the sudden my car feels like it's being forced to drive like if someones pushing my car toward me while i'm trying to gain speed. it has been waisting alot of gas lately too, when i'm driving in the freeway and i'm trying to pick up speed it starts to give little jumps as if i were driving a stick shift, does any one know what this is?, my car has about 101k miles on it thanks alot.....

Welcome to the forum!

Does your LS have the V-6 or the V-8?

It sounds like your LS may be suffering from leaky valve cover gasket spark plug well seals. Please use the "Search this forum" feature from the Lincoln LS forum main page for keywords "valve cover."

I'd suggest starting by checking for leaky valve cover gasket plug well seals.
