Re: Wondering what will bring the 2008
I rented a 2008 limited a few weeks ago. It had 7k miles and I was surprised how much stuff I got into it. I got 22mpg doing 235 miles of which 180 were 65-70 mph on the highway. It was a little noisy on some roads and the gas pedal was a little light. At 70mph you only needed to push it down maybe an inch. I liked the way it handled and will consider it after the winter when I will need a new vehicle.

I am looking currently to buying a canadian version of the ford escape, new!
I noted Nitrogen Filled tires..supposed to be better than air. BUT cost $40 to fill..leave room for intrepretation, is that $40 from flat..or $40 if the tires are down a bit..THAT would make it a hell of expensive fill. I prefer good old gas station air!...easier on the pocket book. comments? |
