Ok, here's the problem - Apparantly, if the car thinks it's being stolen it wont start. My brother got it recently as his first car, and he's not too savvy at diagnosing these kind of problems. He says when he trys to start the car sometimes, it wont...but other times it's fine. I suggested a bad sensor or connection somewhere, but thats the best I can do since I can't put my hands on it. Also, he says its different as it came from the factory with a 2.0 liter. Anyone with suggestions, a point in the right direction? Thanks in advance guys...

Re: '97 SER anti-theft problems...
Ok guys, found the problem and fixed it. Turns out the reason the car wouldnt start is because the starter was bad...Awesome.
