Lowering the front end

I need some advice on lowering my front end. How low is too low? The rubber stoppers are about an inch away from touching the wishbone. How do I make sure each side is the same height? Can someone outline the procedure? Thanks

What year model? What are you trying to do exactly? 2wd or 4wd?
