you think some one would make a model if enough people asked them to?

how many requests do you think it would take to get one of the big model companies to make a certain model? do you know anyone who has gotten this done?

Angry

I've read that around 500,000 kits sold per mold is what the major players are wanting. Sooo...

In a word...NO! Too many economic sides to consider!
Unless you can get 500,000 people I guess!

Probably not, but at least there is a 1/24 model of RX-5.

Bandai also made one in 1/20 scale.

EDIT: Damn it, I just noticed that there has been a thread about RX-5 models a month ago. Sorry

I've seen that 1/24th Cosmo kit...

It's a pretty crappy looking kit, as are most in that series. A few I saw looked decent, but many are almost of cartoon-like proportions.

The 1/20th Bandai kit is a lot better, if you can ever find it.

That car, the Cosmo, was only sold in the US for a couple of years w/the 13B rotary from the RX4. I knew a couple of guys who had them, back when I drove my '74 RX4 coupe.
