99 lx engine question=
question about the valve (seat) falling apart and falling down in the engine destroying it. is that a 99 % garanteed happening in a 1999 LX ? on the average ,how many miles can you get on the car before it happens ?

Escort engines changed around 96 or so... I am not sure I have heard of anyone having the valve seat problem with anything beyond a 95. Could be wrong, but I don't think you have to worry about it.
