I'd remove the connector from the battery negative terminal. I'd leave it off until I located the fault, otherwise it will flatten the battery. Ignition switch would be the prime suspect, or it could be a short-circuit in the wiring harness.

Gosh, that is the first time I have ever heard of such thing! You basically need to reverse-jump start it.

I agree, faulty ignition would be my first idea.

Ditto... unplug the ignition wiring from the switch and use some jumpers to test the circuits.
