Cruise Control Brake Switch?

Hello, My Cruise just started not shutting off when the brakes where depressed unless you slam them hard, I think it would be the switch on the brakes since the switch still disengages it like it normally should.

Any suggestions are great!!!

Re: Cruise Control Brake Switch?

Sounds like you are on the right track. I imagine the contacts in t he brake switch are getting worn out. It's possible you could clean up the switch and buy yourself some time, that's only if you care to go to the trouble. I really think those switches are pretty inexpensive.

Test with a voltmeter. Maybe it needs adjusting also.
