Metro convertible & Adding Factory Air
What is involved in adding factory air to metro convertible? Can it be done yourself or is it something the dealership has to do? If so about what would they charge?

Re: Metro convertible & Adding Factory Air
I would not recommend trying to do it yourself. My mechanic is good with A/C so I had him do it. You can buy an aftermarket kit, which I would recommend over buying one from the dealer. I don't recommend buying a rebuilt one, either, as I had some bad luck with that.
The total cost for mine was around $750. The dealer wanted around $900 just for the compressor. |
