2002 Suburban horn
The horns on my 2002 Suburban are very quiet and sound kind of like a muffled rattle. Is this more likely the horns themselves being bad or the horn relay? I disconnected the passenger side one and had the same sound with just the drivers side one hooked up. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: 2002 Suburban horn
Run a jumper wire straight to the hot battery post and that will tell you.
I have one of the horns non-functional on my '02 and have been waiting for my local salvage yard to get one in. Hate to cough up over $50 at the GM parts counter. And my wife is one of those women that likes her horn! |

Re: 2002 Suburban horn
I did some checking around. At gmpartsdirect.com the right hand horn #89046917 is $29.84, the left hand one #89046916 is $36.02. I took one of my horns off and tried to hot wire it, it made a little clicking sound that's all.
