What oil do you use?

What brand, weight, conventional or Synthetic. Also what about the oil filter? It is time to give the old gal a change and was just wondering what you all used.

Re: What oil do you use?

I've always used A C Delcos on my GMs. Never had a problem. They are the OEM filter for your car. Fram's quality has gone downhill in the past few years. I used to use them on my other vehicles, but no longer do so. Here is a link to an oil filter study that looked at many different oil filter manufacturer's product:http://minimopar.knizefamily.net/oilfilterstudy.html
As for oil, I use both conventional oil and have switched some of my lower mileage engines over to synthetic oil,(Mobil 1 5W30.) I like the extended oil change intervals and the protection package the oil has. For the engines that I use conventional oil in, i tend to not be that fussy. I use whatever is on sale or a good price at the time of purchase. I follow the owner's manual recommendation for viscosity, usually 5W30.
