All,
I have a nice 1992 Geo Metro that would run fine except for 1 small, but critical (maybe common) problem. The part of frame (a-frame?) that connects to the control arm for the front wheel suspension rusted through. I like Geos, and would like to take advantage of this one. We have decent welding equipment/skills here. Are there any parts out there that can be purchased and welded onto the frame to fix this? Has anybody done this? Should I look for a Geo Metro with a blown engine, then put the engine/transmission from this one into it? Thanks in Advance George |
