close to death

me and my cuzins where coming home from a night time drive (7-1-07) at about 2:30 a.m. we decide to take a long stretch of road leading to our apartment in fairfeild ohio. half way down the street we see four lights closing in on us coming in the opposite direction i quickly told my cuzin (that was pilotin his stock 03' corrolla S )that it was a street race and they were closin in on us on both sides of the road he started to panic because there were ditches on either side of the road .so i told him to use his hazard lights and get in the middle of the road and hope that the two racers would see us as a fork in the road. in less than a minute they were about ten yards away and the second racer was coming in head on so my cuzin jus slalomed them and we made it home. i had recognized wat kind of cars they were by their lights. it was a second gen eclipse against a 90-96 300zx twin turbo (i could tell by the sound of the bov) and the next day driving on the street we saw the eclipse horribly wrecked on the wrong side of the road i cant wait til my car gets out of the shop!!!!

Re: close to death

I call BS on the story.

If two cars are coming head on towards you at night, the fact that you'd be able to recognize them both is far fetched.

I'll explain... If you were cruising at a slow 30mph, and they were racing.. we'll say they're going 70mph. That's a 100mph closer rate, factor in low light (night time) plus both their head lights blinding you.. you'd have a split second to identify both vehicles as they went past.

And you say you knew it was a twin turbo 300zx by the BOV. The chances of him letting off and or shifting as he went by are a million to one. And the fact that you could even hear the BOV as they screamed past.

Then, you told your 'cuzzin' to straddle the road down the middle? That's just dumb... something out of a Fast and Furious movie. Smarter thing to do was to pull over as far to the right as possible and let them go past.

And the whole line about the wrecked Eclipse the next morning... that's something outta a bad horror movie. Infact I think that was in Final Destination 2... or was it 3? Who cares, they were both equally bad. But gruesomely entertaining.

Your story is so full of plot holes it's rediculous. And calling me a shit head won't get you very far.
