4.3L engine stumble

Not a question just FYI. My '96 S10 had what I'll call a stumble while cruising or under light acceleration. While going down the highway it would just keep missing momentairly. Code P300 (engine misfire) kept getting set. Giving it significantly more gas always made the symptom go away.

I popped off the plastic intake duct and saw a little black ring around the throttle plate. I pushed in then I saw 1/4 inch of gunk on the backside of the plate. I took the throttle body off and clean it off with engine degreaser and a wire brush and now it drives perfect.

Make sure to remove the TP sensor before you clean the throttle body or it will no longer work.
