Re: 92 vs. 02

stock for stock you should be able to take him, according to:

http://www.albeedigital.com/supercou...0-60times.html

which lists 1/4 and 0-60 times for stock cars.

(EDIT: the exact models aren't on there but going by similiar models you can get a feel for it.)

I know, I rode in it, it wont do a brakestand to save your life but it seems to have some pretty good get up and GO. Wont it beat my car on topend? CUzz i was with him once we had the spedo pinned right at 120..which is pretty good.

Re: 92 vs. 02

yeah, if that 02 is a stick it can probably take you on the start. I got a 2000 firebird coupe 5 spd. and a buddy of mine has a 97 transam ram air and I took him on first and second gear, but once he threw in third, he was GONE!!!!! that bastard........

Its hard to say, just line them up and race. I would be more suprised to hear you lost than the v-6 but stranger things have happened.

serious? your car was stock? you sure he wasnt messin with ya? i do that with the guys all the time... just hang back till i feel bored..and then kick it if you did beat em in 1,2 props! some good driving by you & not so good by your friend..

and well, the 92 is prolly one of the better years for the 3rd gen.. he also said he got the 5.7...which is pushing out 330lb/ft so..that should be enough to take down the 3.8.. which isnt shabby but not 300+lb/ft worth..

Re: 92 vs. 02

Well found out today that that race is never gunna happen, the kid is in highschool that owns the car, his parents are forcing him to sell it because he has been caught doing burnouts to many times.
