Unhappy hp question

i just wanted some help i have an 06 lancer es and put an shortram intake, muffler and changed spark plugs. the question is when i give it gas it doesn't go anywhere i put the paddle to the floor. its manual and i know its es but can some one please help me

Now when you say doesn't go anywhere, do you mean that it doesn't move or it's "slower"?
If it's not moving than you didn't connect something correctly, maybe an exhaust leak or your MAS isn't setup right. Maybe your short ram isn't fully in the intake manny and you're losing pressure.
If the car "seems slower" then my friend, welcome to Lancer tuning. Since you started from the tail end of the system, you opened it lowering your overall back pressure. I bet you got a high end muffler, so 1st and 2nd seem really slow but as you get pass 55-65 the car seems to start pulling. Since our cars are underpowered, the muffler is swapping early power for high rpm power though it's still not much. Open the entire system for a true gain.
