2003 Eclipse GT
i was considering purchasing this car, but i'm unsure of a few questions.. (i'm not a car guy, so some of these questions may sound stupid indeed)
1. Should I upgrade to the GTS or stick with the GT? 2. What are some good companies that nice kits for Eclipse? 3. Does anyone have a list of components I can use to modify the eclipse? such as best rims, spoilers, etc... 4. any good sites dedicated to eclipse? |

if you want something close to a 3000gt (base model), the gts would be your choose since it has all-wheel drive and 210 horsepower. I am not saying performance wise, cause they are different in that aspect, but numbers wise they are almost the same. If you want fwd and 210 hp, than go with the gt. But i warn you, putting heavy rims on it will make it slower than a gs.

Try the Club3G at www.neweclipse.org for all the aftermarket support you need for the 2000+ Eclipse.

Stick with the gt model. The gts is NOT all wheel drive. It has a motor with slightly higher compression and only 10 more horsepower. If you plan on going F.I. in the future, the gt motor is a better candidate. Besides that the gt model will save you a couple grand towards future mods.
