98 Taurus, Stalling when HOT
Car has 140,000 miles. Car starts fine, runs fine for 5-10 miles, until engine is hot. And in Phoenix, in July that is pretty quick. Then, at red lights, the car stalls when I hit the gas. Car will start right back up, it is getting plenty of fuel. It is worse if the AC is running, we can shut off the AC and it will run rough, but not die every time.
The mechanic or I have replaced air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires, replaced the Air intake gaskets, cleaned the throttle body, checked the fuel pressure, fixed several vacume leaks, and the car runs alot better. But it gets hot, and then it still dies.
I've tried searching through the forum, but I'm not getting any ideas.
