Al Gore's son arrested for drugs

I thought this was amusing. http://www.time.com/time/nation/arti...640082,00.html . Looks like he listened to his old man though, he was caught driving a hybrid (At least he's doing his part to save the environment.)

100 MPH in a Prius. I wonder what kind of fuel economy it gets at 100?

You know the conventional engine must have been close to maxed out.

Re: Al Gore's son arrested for drugs

Must've been a slow news day. Thousands get processed for misdemeanour offences every day. There's plenty of real news out there, but if the market just wants cheap scandal and celebrity gossip, that's all they'll show. And when they can't find enough of it, they resort to shite like this.I'd be embarrassed to bring such drivel to a current affairs discussion group.

Re: Al Gore's son arrested for drugs

I think one reason the media mentioned it, and the reason I found it hilarious was that he was caught in a hybrid car. At least he still listens to his father about "global warming", and has "concern" enough to drive one .

It probably was a slow news day. Lighten up, man. You need to switch to decaf.

Nah....I need the gutless retards who support Bush to entertain me by trying [and failing miserably] to justify his excesses..

Re: Al Gore's son arrested for drugs

Dude, you are far too obsessed with Bush. Let it go. No one but you mentions him anywhere in this thread.

It's all about the irony of driving a car that is supposed to be uber environmentally friendly in a very irresponsible way. The fact that it's Al Gore's son doesn't hurt, either.

One doesn't have to be pro-Bush to think Al Gore is a tool.

You should be more worried about those killer sheep they're breeding in NZ:

Fixed. I noticed the "l" was missing from "html" in the last part of the link. That'll teach me to not test the link out before I hit "Submit Reply".

Probably an understatement but I agree. Not just this thread but many others. If I hear Bush mentioned again I think I will ..........

Re: Al Gore's son arrested for drugs

from the article ventureowner posted :

Quote:
......Paddy Power said it was paying out winnings to about 50 people, because it had failed to identify which Gore it meant. "We got a good stoning," the Dublin-based company said in a statement....
I wonder if he even thought about how it would read in the states.
