Re: Transformers Movie

Saw it on Monday for a special sneak premiere (not preview). Was totally worth every penny for my ticket. I had to piss so bad after the first half an hour, but I held all the way through. I just didn't want to miss a thing, and it was worth nearly pissing on myself.

I had only wished I could have seen Soundwave. But, like Chiquae said, GO SEE IT!!!

Re: Transformers Movie

By far the best movie I have seen in a long time. I plan on seeing it again in the theatre, probably more than once. It was awesome.

Re: Transformers Movie

Far exceeded my expectations since i was a transformers fan since the 80's. I thought Hollywood would do its usual thing and ruin classic francises but damn it came out great. Rivals DIE HARD

Re: Transformers Movie

I'm on my way to see it right now...

After the movie:

Hmm, I enjoyed it a lot. Only complaint I have is that the action sequences where so fast you get lost in all the complexity of the robot designs as to what's going on. And the camera didn't really focus on them as much as it should of, it was always off to the side never a direct view it seemed, case in point when Bonecrusher tackles Prime on the highway, they're halfway off the screen when it happens.. wtf?.

And obviously they leave themsevles open for sequels at the end... speaking of the ending. I'm not so pleased on how it ended.

Oh, and what happened to Barricadel? Bumble Bee kicked his ass in the beginning, then we see him and Bonecrusher on the highway scene... and that's the last of Barricade.. he just dissapeared.

Also, some factual errors were made... and they made no effort to cover them up. Like when Mikaela says "you've got a highrise manifold with a double pump carburetor." When you clearly see the car has individual throttle boddies and fuel injection... I MEAN COME ON!

.... and after all the griping. I'll probably go see it again.

Re: Transformers Movie

Yeah I noticed that about the engine too. It did look awesome though. I certainly enjoyed the movie. I would see it again.

Re: Transformers Movie

Yeah what the hell happened to Barricade?
and was it me or did the decepticons go down to easy?

I hated how it ended though. Jazz......

Re: Transformers Movie

imo it was perfect...the humor wasn't bad, kinda funny actually. it HAS to please the young crowd..how old were we when transformers were out?

i loved the special affects...it makes you fall in love with bumble bee
it makes optimus prime look bad ass...megatron even better

they even kept the sound of the transformers transforming pretty well

i actually feel it was the best movie of the decade..i loved it.

i think the funniest part is when they made that little tiny tranformer in the glass box and it started going crazy shooting at the windows and firing rockets lmao, that little guy was badd ass

Re: Transformers Movie

I saw it a second time today with TerminalVelocity, you have to see it a second time to catch all the things that are going on in the action sequences because they do happen so fast and ... not always in the center of the screen.

Micheal Bay, what were you thinking?

I love BumbleBee's character, but I think for me who stole the show is Ironhide.

The whole scene with Mojo pissing on his foot... man... "egh... seems you have a rodent infestation..."

Re: Transformers Movie

Never really grew up to see Transformers but if everyone says it's good then I'll probably see it. I wonder if the video game for PSP is worth buying.

Re: Transformers Movie

my only complaint is about movie is that its a giant advertisement. all the GM cars were left in pristine condition, with alot of still shots in the middle of the action sequence, or that long pause when they showed that 2 gig scandisc card when they were downloading. And all the cars were GM!!! nothing exotic at all. Jazz got down graded from a porsche 911 to a solestice.

Sad thing is, Jazz ended the movie in 2 pieces...
Why did it have to be Jazz, though...
Probably my favorite out of all of them...
Always was, anyway...

Re: Transformers Movie

Where in the world did Barricade go?

I still want that one solved. He was there following Bonecrusher, saw Optimus Prime put the ninja moves on Bonecrusher.. and fled the scene in pursuit of Krispy Kreme donuts.

My official synopsis is, he got delayed pulling over a drunk driver.
