2001 Cabrio - auto roof not working

Hello,

My automatic roof is not going down when I press the button.

When the key is positioned just before the OFF position, you hear the motor but the roof doesn't move. When the key is in the OFF position, you hear nothing at all.

Please help - I want to drop my top this summer!

o i had the same problem so what you do is go to the trunk and check were the motor is (of the convertible top ofcourse) and once you find the motor look if it has any hydrolick liquid in its valves if its empty just go to autozone and tell them you need some hydralick liquid and they should help you out with that also you could do it manually just turn the dial(the dial is on the motor it looks like a cylinder)and move couter clock wise and take of the roof your self...
