need help with jvc ks-rf40 cd changer
Actually, the display model number is ks-rf40. The cd changer is ch-x99
I am not sure what to look for. I parked my car, after arriving at work one day, and when I shut it off, the CDs were playing. When I got back in my car a couple of hours later, the CD player was not playing my CDs. I looked at the dispay and it was off. When I attempted to power it back on it would not come one. I checked to see if the cartridge was in place and would come out and go back in. I have checked the fuses that I think are related (all of the ones that say "audio" on the little guide on the fuse cover. They all seem to be intact. What else should I be looking for? It seems as if the box (the one with the lcd screen, not the changer itself) is just not getting power or something. Like I said before, the cartridge goes into the changer and comes out of the changer just fine, so the changer is getting power. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance Last edited by quiet1; 07-04-2007 at 01:45 AM. |
