need help with jvc ks-rf40 cd changer

Actually, the display model number is ks-rf40. The cd changer is ch-x99

I am not sure what to look for. I parked my car, after arriving at work one day, and when I shut it off, the CDs were playing. When I got back in my car a couple of hours later, the CD player was not playing my CDs. I looked at the dispay and it was off. When I attempted to power it back on it would not come one. I checked to see if the cartridge was in place and would come out and go back in. I have checked the fuses that I think are related (all of the ones that say "audio" on the little guide on the fuse cover. They all seem to be intact.

What else should I be looking for? It seems as if the box (the one with the lcd screen, not the changer itself) is just not getting power or something. Like I said before, the cartridge goes into the changer and comes out of the changer just fine, so the changer is getting power.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance
