COMPLETLEY stumped, please help!!!!

I have a 93 Prelude H23A and for some reason (at random) the car will not start. it cranks and cranks but wont turn over. it had a tune up about 1,000 miles ago (new plugs, wires, dizzy rotor and cap, fuel filter)

at first I thought it was the ignition coil because when I pulled the plug off the top of it and tried to crank it, it almost turned over. then when I plugged it back in it started right up.

I replaced the coil and it worked fine for a day. then today it wouldn't start ALL DAY. i pulled out the wires and it's getting spark so I think it could be the fuel pump.

The only problem is when I went to change the fuel pump just now I got in and the car started right up anyone have any other ideas as to what it could be??

Hey man, I had that same shit with my car. Well, I still do. 1994 Prelude SI H23. It's most likely your Main Relay. At first I was debating to my brother and his friend who works at Toyota, we were thinking coolant temerature sensor, but we've come to the conclusion that it's most likely Main Relay. Mine doesn't start when it's hot out side. Autozone sells Main Relay for about 65 dollars. That SHOULD work.

Me: No you idiot.
Him: Sorry, I've never replaced an O-Joint before
Me: FAIL

Re: COMPLETLEY stumped, please help!!!!

Id do a fuel pressure test first(when its working and when its not), compare them, im not sure on this car but on most domestics they have a shrader valve(tire valve), and u just hook the fuel pressure tester up to that, if not it "T"ees into the gas line. Its easy and if u can borrow one its cheap too.

as far as the fuel pressure check goes, you can get a gage that bolts right on the fuel filter...two second installation...works great.
