What's the difference?
Can someone who knows, tell me whats the difference between the Autotek MM1000.1 and the Autotek SS1000.1 amp? I know they both have 1000w RMS, and are both class D monoblocks.

Re: What's the difference?
http://www.maxxsonics.com/autotek/index.html
on this site they claim... class a/b but they're nammed 1000.1D with the D in the nomenclature implying class D operation there's more than two or three classes between class a/b and class d...(suspect) they also advertise their amps using the 1-ohm standard... the one ohm sub is a market within the market, or you else you'll need a multi-sub setup w/the right impedences to get the advertised power (1000.1D)...(still suspect) I know you only want to know the differences between the two, (before I get too far off the question), and the only difference that I can see is the same thing that PaulD said...aside from the part about being madd suspect...
