IF you plan on getting cam gears dont get AEM...I had a couple of friends who busted their cylinder head because of jumping gears using AEM. Skunk2, Spoon, Toda are a few of the famous ones. Cam gears help you tune your cams as suppose to just advancing the distributor. They're lighter than the stock cam gears too and it helps a bit...:flash:

dont expect any huge gains from the cam gears. only a few hp. it would work alot better with an aftermarket cam

if you look into crower cams, everyone ive seen on boards who got 402s or 403s wish they got the 404s, but with those you get to purchase stronger valvetrain components

Skunk2s have 6 bolts, the more bolts the better.

cam gears allow you to advance or retard the timing on your intake and exhaust cams. The only way to see any real power gains is on a dyno. You wont really "feel" any difference in the seat of your pants.

retarding or advancing a cam changes when the valves open compared to when the piston is at top dead center.Like with nitrious you want to retard the timing.Depending on who you believe, about 2 degrees retarded every 50-75 hp of nitrious. i advanced my cam a few degrees before i had N20 and it felt more responsive, i dont know where you would wnat to set them on dual cams, maybe someone else can help you with that...

well if you don't get it dyno'd to tune it them you will see no gains. You really have to be on a dyno to get the gains, otherwise you will be going by the butt dyno.

If you get it dyno'd then you could see any where 5-15 horses depending on supporting mods
