2004 Z-71 Step Side

hI GUYS, FOR YEARS i ALWAYS CHANGE MY FUEL FILTER UNDER THE DRIVER DOOR FOR 2 DAYS NOW i BEEN LOOKING FOR THE FUEL FILTER CAN YOU HELP ME IT'S A 2004 CHEVY SILVERADO EXT. CAB Z-71 5.3 THAN'S SO MUCH FRANK....

Fuel filter is non-serviceable in the fuel tank. Whole unit is replaced.

find the fuel line at the tank, then trace it all the way to the motor. you will find the filter in the fram rail. it should be about one or two ft past the back of the cab.

Im not sure if same model year silverados are different, but my 04 only has one. Its in the tank.

Since when did they start putting the fuel filter in the tank? That seems pretty lame!!! I know on my 2000 Silvy it is under the bed.

From 04+ the fuel filter is inside the tank.
