Turbo

ok, might not be worth it but i figured i would ask. I can get ahold of a turbo off of a volvo, and i was just wondering if it would be possible or even worth trying to put in my 01 SOHC neon. i know ill need the manifold and everything else to go with it but i was just wondering if this is a way to put a cheap turbo setup in the car. thanks

Re: Turbo

Wouldnt you need to also change the pistons, to have a lower compression ratio?

Re: Turbo

no a stock neon motor can push 8psi safely, anything after that you need to start rebuilding.
