Checking/Adding ATF to the 4T40E, 4T45E..
For the dipstick-less 4T40E, 4T45E owners, I mocked up this pic compliments of GM showing the locale of the fill port and level check bolt. Keep in mind, to check level, you need to have the car at normal operating temps, idling in park on a level surface. ATF should just dribble out if the level is correct. If you check level with the engine off, about 2-3qts will flow out of the check port.
