Lights on radio out.

Half the lights in my 97 Malibu stock radio are out on the numbered station buttons. Are these LED's or bulb? Is it worth pulling it out to repair. I'm not planning on buying a new radio until I can afford something decent.

Thanks!

Re: Lights on radio out.

Tape. I'm not going to spend anything on a replacement for now. (New trans took care of most of my disposable income. ) So in the meantime I wanted to keep all the original equipment working. Heck, the car looks and runs new and is 10 years old with 180+k mileage.

How do i add a picture? When I click on the button to add an image it only shows and HTTP link in the path. when I point to a location on my PC it only shows a blank thumbnail in the message where the image should be.

Well, the tape player maybe if you can open it you will find the lights but I not to sure if you can change them
