Extended Transmission warranty?

Does anyone have documentation they could send me or some sort of proof of the extended warranty to 8yr/100k? My '99 Sienna XLE with 92.5k miles just started having the transmission slip from 1st to 2nd gear. I have the car at the shop right now and am waiting to hear back.. I mentioned the extended warranty and of course they said they have not heard about it???

I had to help them find the extended warrany bulletin because they had not heard about. Unfortunately, my 99' sienna was placed in service in 02/1999 so i'm late by about 5 months! Looks like i'm going to have to pay for this one out of my pocket. Quote so far from Toyota is $3500, another reputable transmission shop quoted me $2k. The Toyota service guy is checking to see what "breaks" they can give me to lower the price.

In doing my research I also found that Honday Odyssey's of similar years had transmission problems as well. So much for choosing a Toyota or Honda for the sake of reliability !!!

Here's the summary of the TSB in case anyone else needs it. Better get into the dealer quick before your Sienna gets over the 8yr/100k point. I believe this was issued to include years up to 2003.

Unfortunately my 2000 Sienna XLE just missed out on the extended warranty with 104K on the ODO. However, they did all they could to lessen the pain. The initial quote was $3,500, which they reduced to $2,100. In addition to this, their service and attitude were excellent.
