Are all 190e kits created equal?

Hey everyone, I recently bought an ESCI 190e from EvilBay and was really disappointed to find a squashed body inside. Now I need a new body, and was interested in using the body from the Fujimi AMG version. Is it the same kit, minus the engine? I recently learned that the Revell is the same as the Fujimi.

Yes, Revell did rerelease the Fujimi 190E kit, but this has nothing to do with the ESCI one. Engine is included, but body proportions seem to be much worse than Fujimi´s Benz.

Thanks, DasWiesel, it was your build that inspired me to become interested in the 190. My ex-girlfriend's father used to drive us around Cologne in a dark blue one just like it, and it was the very essence of cool to an American kid . I'll give the Fujimi kit a try.

This will be my guide for "alternative engine installation:"
