Clutch
The clutch got stiff all of a sudden, it wont engage to go from 1st to second. if i put it in second and give it gas it just revs up. But it will go in reverse and go foward if i rev the engine. I belive its the linkage and or the trowout bearins. But im not sure? How do i fix this problem?

Re: Clutch
Quote:
Does the pedal disengage the clutch lower than normal? Higher? With the clutch pedal all the way down, are you able to shift into any gear with the engine idling and the car still? It sounds like the clutch is slipping, but also not entirely disengaging. Any new sounds? If you go under the hood, and jiggle the black arm that the clutch cable attaches to, does it jiggle back and forth freely about 1/8-1/4", or is it tight and unmovable by hand? -MechanicMatt

Re: Clutch
if you have a hydraulic clutch you could bleed it, don't think thats going to help but just a thought
