Re: where can i find the color code?

The idea of this forum is to 'avoid' the dealership - that's why I posted here. I should not have to call them to find out a color code. It is a 'knowlege issue' not a repair under warranty.

Re: where can i find the color code?

alright look dude, i didnt say what kind of issue it or whatever your spoutin about all im tryin to say is that you will prolly find out alot faster if you call them and ask yourself. thats it. just call, and they will tell you. all they gotta do is look it up in their computer thingys. it would seriously be alot faster than posting here. tell ya what, is there more than one shade of grey for the aveo? if not ill call em for ya and then post back here.

Re: where can i find the color code?

also the idea of a forum is not just to avoid the dealership, its to spread information and ideas amongst eachother about thier cars and events surrounding their cars. and to ask questions and get answers.

Re: where can i find the color code? I found it..

I have to disagree. The dealership is a frustrating place for most people. The one where I live is run by a bunch of yo-yo's. I took a few minutes to look around my car and I found the paint code on a sticker in the glovebox.
I saved myself the frustration of a phone call with a long hold time and then to have some ding dong tell me to 'look around' for the sticker. These forums are in fact here first and formost to: avoid the dealership, then avoid the mechanic. The dealership and the mechanic is out for one thing only - take your money. They are not your friends. It's business.
