I did drop the tire pressure from 33 to 29.5 that help a bit I may have to drop it a bit more to maybe 28lbs. Any one else using these tires

Haven't tried them yet. I've had Goodyear Assurance Tripletreads for the past 25k miles or so and they've been quite good, though they do ride a little bit harsher than stock tires. Did you read tire rack reviews before getting your tires?

No I did not. I guess I should hava. I am going to try 30psi on the front and 28 psi in the rear that may help a bit

Re: I installed Michelin Hydro Edge Tires

I'm running Goodyear ComforTread on my '99 Intrigue. It is one heck of a tire and it is perfectly suited for the Intrigue. The rubber insulation between the tread and the casing makes the ride very smooth, takes the jolt out of the bumps. A very quiet tire with superior handling, wet and dry traction, and very long mileage. I run them about 34 psi using nitrogen.

To late for me now. The Hydro edge tires will outlast the 99 Intrigue. They seem to be running a bit softer with lower PSI

Re: I installed Michelin Hydro Edge Tires

Maybe your tire pressure gauge is getting old????? I just check tire rack and your tires have a very high positive rating. The "ride comfort" rating was way up there. The tread and wet traction is similar to the TripleTread. How many miles are on your struts?

Has the lower air pressure lowered your milege? You might want to consider using nitrogen if you are running low pressure because of the safety angle.

Tire gauge is good the struts are orginal, Now that the tires have 1,000 km and the tires at 29psi they seem to be running much smoother. I will say they are a great tire in the dry and in the rain in abought 6 months time I will see how good they are in the snow. Good or bad these will be the last tires the Intrigue will see
