look im havin problems...

okay heres the deal I just got a new job and im lookin for a decent car, i was taking a walk and I cut across this dealership right? well i found this Ealge Talon and I was like dude. so i talk to the guy and he is like "yeah ill give it to you for 500$ so im like heck yeah! Ido a little bit of homework on the car and come to find out their are 4 diff models for the first gen talons DL,ES,TSI,and TSI AWD. well i look ath the engine specs a few days later and sure enough its a 4G63 now i was confused, the 4g63 was only a 2.0 liter bit it said it was a 1.8. the 1.8 verson was only the DL cranking a a whoping 92 (Joke) HP. should i say screw that! save my cash or go ahead and buy the S.O.B for 500?

Re: look im havin problems...

it is always possible the engine could have been switched.
The big question is does it have a turbo on it?
I'm pretty sure the 1st gens did come with a non turbo 4g63 unlike the 2'gs with the 420a and I do remember there being a 1.8 SOHC too. but for 500 bucks I want to say you can't go wrong!

Re: look im havin problems...

well now your talking major mods. It would be very expensive to do these things and if thats what your looking for I would say you should definately start with turbo awd platform. It will be much cheaper in the long run for anything like that.
