Paint combos (layers) ie what would happen if...

I did an undercoat of Silver, followed by a coat of deep blue then lavender? or silver, lavender, blue? Any ideas?

Im trying to get a sort of metallic midnight-purple colour for my evo 6....

Any suggestions for other colours I can paint it?

with all those colours, it could turn out to be any shade of purple or blue.
and for the same price for the paint, you could get some paint mixed for you. Or you might be able to find some touch up paint for a real car that is that colour.

Using solid color on silver has very little or almost no effect to the final appearance. Use clear colors, such as clear blue, clear green or clear red etc. You have to play with them to find the desired color.

That gets more of a candy look to it, not metallic, because the whole thing is silver underneath that is visible, not just little particles.

Tamiya makes a really nice deep blue-purple TS paint. Do a search for ZoomZoom's 360 Spider.
